Damen 3: First victory of the season

Saturday, 05.11.2022, VBC Uni Bern 3 x 1 VBC Konolfingen – Damen 3 Liga pro 

We lost, unfortunately, the 2 previous games of the season. That's why we had to put our thought in the right place and get our motivation up. On Saturday we were ready to give our best. The victory came in a well-played game. The many rallies gave it a special touch (mainly because we won most of them hehe).

We started the first set with a good point difference. This was the opportunity to put into practice new variations in the attacks. We also had precise and good serves, and the opponent had problems in reception. The block worked well too. The second set followed the same rhythm as the first. We were focused and fought for each and every point.

In the third set, our concentration decreased. We were dealing with the “pressure” of always being behind by a few points. Compared to the previous sets, more mistakes were made, and we lost in a tight score (25x23). Some changes were made, we came back refreshed for the fourth set. Our good performance started to show again, and the victory finally came.

We hope this is just the beginning of a great season, with many wins to come! :)
